Fulham ‘fear’ Tottenham approach
Fulham reportedly fear a late Tottenham approach for Ryan Sessegnon, according to Bleacher Report.
Tottenham have yet to spend a penny during the transfer window and fans are growing frustrated at the lack of activity.
However they could be set for a late flurry with Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones claiming Fulham are worried about a last minute approach for their star man.
“It probably won’t happen but there is a small amount of concern at Fulham that Spurs will make a big deadline day bid for Ryan Sessegnon,” he wrote.

John McGinn is undergoing a medical with Aston Villa – but Celtic have matched their bid for the Hibs man.
McGinn has travelled down to Birmingham with Hibs’ blessing and could complete his move before the English deadline at 5pm tomorrow.
Personal terms are yet to be agreed but a fee with Hibs and Villa is.
Celtic have come in with a late bid after being knocked back twice last mont, but Villa are said to be in the driving seat.
Transfer deadline day reminder
Transfer deadline day is fast approaching for Premier League clubs – but when does the La Liga window close?
The Premier League transfer window shuts on Thursday, August 9 at 5pm.
The transfer window in Spain does not close until August 31.
The same date applies for the teams in Germany, France, Italy and Scotland.
Transfer news: Kurt Zouma could be leaving Chelsea for Everton on loan
This means the top European sides can still sign Premier League players before the end of the month.
However, after the Premier League window closes tomorrow, English sides will not be able to buy players – only sell to these European clubs.
Drinkwater to West Ham
Danny Drinkwater could be heading across to London to West Ham, according to the bookmakers.
He is now priced as short as 2/1 to team up with Manuel Pellegrini at the London Stadium, while Crystal Palace and Leicester are 3/1, and Everton and Newcastle are both 6/1.
“With Chelsea strengthening their midfield this summer it seems as though Drinkwater will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer comes in before the deadline,” aid Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
“West Ham lead the chase, but at 2-1 our odds reflect that there’s a lot to happen before any deal is confirmed and Crystal Palace and Leicester are also in the hunt.”
Mateo Kovacic medical
Mateo Kovacic will have a medical at Chelsea today after an agreement was reached with Real Madrid over a loan move.
Kovacic refused to train at Real this week in a desperate bid to force an exit – a request that has now been granted.
Maurizio Sarri will play the Croatia international as part of a midfield three alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.
An announcement that a deal has been done is expected imminently, after Kovacic has carried out an interview with the club’s official TV channel.

Giroud Fekir talks
Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard have been talking to Nabil Fekir about joining Chelsea.
Chelsea are believed to be in talks with the Lyon ace and hope a deal can be done before tomorrow’s deadline.
“I spoke to him when we were together in the French national team, when his move to Liverpool fell through,” Giroud told Foot Mercato. “Then we discussed Chelsea, and I even think that Eden said a couple of words to him.
“We would obviously welcome him, he is a super player, but I don’t know if this is something that could happen as the window closes on Thursday.”
Wolves done deal
Wolves have signed Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around a club-record £18m.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal at Molineux and becomes the fifth summer signing for the Premier League new boys.
Traore, who came through the youth system at Barcelona, excelled in Boro’s Championship campaign last season.
He made 71 appearances in two seasons at the Riverside, having joined from Aston Villa in 2016.

Kepa will become the most expensive goalkeeper in the world in a deal worth £72m.
The statement said: “The Professional Football League has certified to our entity that the player Kepa Arrizabalaga has met the requirements for the valid unilateral termination of the work contract that linked him to Athletic Club.
“The aforementioned certification indicates that the player has expressed his desire to terminate and unilaterally resolve the relationship that joined him since the 2004/05 season and that the amount of the compensation established in the contract has been deposited.
United agree terms with Alderweireld
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld, reports say.
Bleacher Report say Alderweireld is edging closer to signing with personal terms agreed with the 29-year-old.
United have supposedly, through intermediaries, been working on a deal to bring the Belgium international to Old Trafford.
Bleacher Report say Mourinho views Maguire as a gamble and would relish having Alderweireld in his backline.

Thibaut Courtois will be presented as a Real Madrid player tomorrow with an announcement expected in the next few hours.
That is according to Onda Cero radio journalist Edu Pidal.

“The signing closes at €35-40 million. [He’s] signed for 6 seasons and will be official in the next hours. Keylor Navas stays.”

Telegraph journalist Jeremy Wilson has delivered an update on what Arsenal could do before the deadline.
Wilson tweeted: “Transfer deadline expectations at Arsenal: No more ins. Perez to West Ham.
“Maybe a move for Welbeck but far from agreed while other possible outs abroad, such as Ospina, will probably drag further into August.”
Calum Chambers completed his move to Fulham yesterday.
Transfer news: Unai Emery will not bring any more players in
Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur has been told it’s ‘complicated’ between Manchester United and Tottenham as they battle over Toby Alderweireld.
Jose Mourinho is desperate for a centre-back and he wants Alderweireld, who has a year left on his contract, to be that man.
The 29-year-old Belgian international ‘wants to move’ to Manchester United, says Terreur, but there is a problem over the transfer fee.
“I’ve been told for the last few weeks it’s pretty complicated between the two teams,” Terreur told the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast.
Man Utd make Alderweireld decision
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will not sign a centre-half if he fails to complete a deal for Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld.
Red Devils boss Mourinho is desperate to sign a new centre-back before tomorrow’s 5pm transfer deadline.
United yesterday made a final £40m take-it-or-leave-it offer for for the Belgium international, 29.
The Red Devils have also been linked with Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng, Barcelona ace Yerry Mina and Leicester’s Harry Maguire.

Pogba sends Woodward a message
Paul Pogba has reportedly messaged Ed Woodward to tell him he wants to move to Barcelona.
Pogba’s future has been thrown into doubt with Mino Raiola seemingly offering him to the La Liga champions just days before the English transfer window closes.
Manchester United are furious with Raiola and would have little time to replace the World Cup winner, who only returned from holiday on Monday.
And the Daily Mail are reporting that Pogba has sent a text to United chief executive Woodward to let him know he wants to move on.
It is also claimed Pogba has made his teammates aware that he wants a transfer away from the club after a turbulent two seasons back.
