Lauren Steadman: Strictly star finally speaks out on 'exciting' AJ Pritchard development

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 Lauren Steadman, 26, took to her Instagram to reveal her and AJ, 23, will be performing on the Strictly Come Dancing tour next year. Expressing her excitement about the stint, she wrote: “So excited to finally share that myself and @Aj11Ace will be on the @SCD_Live_Tour!! What an awesome line up.” The dancing duo will be joined by the likes of Faye Tozer, Stacey Dooley, Dr Ranj and Ashley Roberts. Earlier today, Strictly Come Dancing announced the tour line-up on social media.

A post read: “Announcing the full line-up for the 2019 Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.

Stacey Dooley & Aljaž Skorjanec, Ashley Roberts & Pasha Kovalev, Dr Ranj Singh & Janette Manrara, Lauren Steadman & AJ Pritchard, Joe Sugg & Dianne Buswell, Graeme Swann & Karen Clifton and Faye Tozer & Giovanni Pernice.

“They will be joined by professional dancers Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden and Johannes Radebe.”

Elsewhere, Lauren and AJ’s rehearsals seemed to be in disarray as the professional said they had a “man down” yesterday.

AJ took to Instagram to update his fans about the dancing duo’s progress for this weekend’s semi-final.

The pair were joined by a camera crew who were on board to film the pair’s VT.

One of the camera crew could be seen collapsing on the floor while Lauren, and AJ stood by.

Laughing, a Strictly team member appeared to find the cameraman’s outfit humorous, saying to his pal: “Ben’s dressed like that…”

AJ filmed the moment, laughing: “Is there a man down?

“It’s officially contagious,” he added, panning the camera around to a giggling Lauren.

This weekend, Lauren and AJ will perform a Samba to The Hues Corporation’s Rock The Boat and a Tango to Nutbush City Limits by Tina Turner.

Last week, their rendition of the American Smooth to I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy from South Pacific was praised by the judges.

The duo’s efforts earned them an impressive 36 out of 40 points.

Head judge Shirley Ballas told them: “From the bottom of the leaderboard to turning the heat up on the first number was absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much.”

Craig Revel Horwood added: “That dance, ballroom, really is your strength.

“You absolutely flied. You’ve improved so much, you’re telling a story. Gorgeous.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 6:35pm.
