Fortnite secret battle stars: Hidden Week 5 season 5 loading screen solved

For those fans with the time and patience, an extra battle star is available to unlock in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Proving to be an enduring hit, the spin off mode has made a sizable niche in the free-to-play market.

And one of its most successful elements is the battle pass, which costs in-game currency to buy and unlocks 100 tiers of content over a season.

These items can be unlocked by completing new challenges, some of which are only available to those willing to put in a certain amount of effort.

Hidden tasks are back for season 5, with players able to unlock a secret battle star by finishing all of the weekly challenges offered by Epic Games.

It means completing everything on the week 5 challenge list, a total of seven tasks that were launched on Thursday, August 9.

Finishing the list of week 5 challenges will unlock a new loading screen, complete with clues that lead to another battle star.

These secret tiers are called Road Trip challenges, and they take over from the old Blockbuster challenges found in season 4.

And like the Blockbusters of old, Epic Games will reward fans with a secret skin that can only be unlocked through completing all of the Road Trip.

This outfit remains hidden for now, but fans will be able to unlock it later in season 5.

For those who want a chance at adding it to their collection, they will need to complete all the current challenges found in the game, and purchase a battle pass for 950 V-Bucks.

SECRET BATTLE STARS WEEK 5

As mentioned above, the Fortnite secret battle star can only be unlocked in week 5 by completing all seven of the challenges set by Epic Games.

That means you will need a battle pass and the free time to complete what is currently available.

Week 5 challenges include following a treasure map in Snobby Shores and hitting golf balls from tee to green on five different holes on the island, as well as a number of other elimination-based tasks.

Having done this, you will then unlock a loading screen that gives you the right location for the secret battle star.

The week 5 loading screen features Fortnite characters hanging out by a big T-Rex model.

But fans will need to pay close attention to some of the other objects found in the image.

The one that will help unlock the secret battle star is located below the T-Rex’s right leg.

It’s the sign showing a building surrounded by cactus, with a battle star floating above it.

The location fans need to find is west of the Paradise Palms racetrack, which can be found in the 6-I coordinate.

It should be noted that if you can’t see the battle star, it’s because you haven’t completed the full challenge list.

Epic Games have warned that the hidden star won’t appear until you have finished everything else required.

And that’s also the same for those who don’t have a battle pass and are just completing the free challenges.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play game developed by Epic Games and available to play on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch and Mobile iOS.
