Emily Atack, 28, best known for playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, is second favourite to win I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! behind Harry Redknapp.
And she has certainly built up a huge fan base with one person writing to Emily’s mum, Kate Robbins, on Twitter about how much they admire the actress.
One person tweeted Kate: “Have to say @KateRobbins I’m potty about your Emily Totally herself and my hero for ACTUALLY picking up those Huntsman. It’s a great year for lovely campers. Hope you’re loving it up the Versace x.”
Kate, 60, responded back and said it’s been “agony” at the hotel, where she’s been staying as she waits for her daughter to leave the jungle.
She replied: “Hi Hils, thank you! It’s an emotional, bumpy ride for all the families of the jungle ‘inmates’… and it’s agony here at the Hotel xx.”
On last night’s episode, Emily was left absolutely stunned by Nick Knowles on as he walked around semi-naked in a tiny pair of red speedos.
The DIY SOS host stripped off his clothes and showed off his physique in the eye-popping swim shorts to fetch water out of camp with Emily.
“You’ll have to excuse me doing it in my swimming trunks but you get so wet,” he told the actress.
Emily found his lack of clothes hilarious and replied: “This is so mental, I love that the socks match as well.”
In the Bush Telegraph, she said: “I felt bad because I kept trying not to laugh because otherwise he’d think I was laughing at him but I didn’t know where to look.”
Nick asked the actress whether she was laughing at his shorts and she said: “No I’m laughing at the situation.”
“Right,” he said. “You pump and I’ll stand here semi naked while you pump. A bit faster if you don’t mind!”
Emily struggled to hold in the giggles at his comment and she made a very cheeky jibe of her own as she addressed Nick’s attire again in the Bush Telegraph.
She joked: “You couldn’t not mention them, it was the elephant in the room, oh no I can’t say elephant in the room – he’ll be thrilled with that.”
Kate was gobsmacked by their cheeky comments as they “pumped” for the water with the comedian admitting she’s not sure if she will “recover” from their joke.
She wrote: “I’m not sure Nick Knowles’ sons and myself will recover from the ‘pumping water‘ actions in tonight’s episode,” alongside embarrassed face emojis.
Kate added: “But thank you to my twitter friends who voted for my lass #Emily in #ImaCeleb.”
On last night’s episode of the ITV show, former EastEnders actress Rita Simons was voted by the public to leave camp.
There are now only five more episodes before one of the celebrities will be crowned King or Queen of the jungle.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
