Black Ops 4 free beta codes: How do I get a Call of Duty beta code – Can I play for free?

fans are getting excited for the release of Black Ops 4, after Treyarch and Activision announced a beta for the multiplayer for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Black Ops 4 has already had one week of beta testing on the PS4, but is now open for Xbox One and PC users.

The beta is closed invitational beta, meaning you will need to get your hands on a code in order to play it.

Luckily, there are a few ways to get your hands on a code for free to play Black Ops 4 early.

How to get a Call of Duty Black Ops 4 beta code

You can get instant access to the beta if you are willing to spend some money first.

If you pre-order 4 online or in stores, you will be given access to the beta with a download code.

If you bought a physical edition of the game, the code can be input into the official Call of Duty website to give you access to the beta. For digital versions, you will automatically be given access to the beta when you pre-install the game.

However, if you want to play the beta for free, you can enter a competition on the social platform Reddit, to get a free code.

This Reddit thread is offering a competition to win one of 250 beta codes, but you will need to act fast to be in with a chance.

The first weekend’s giveaway has finished, but the second weekend has started, so jump on Reddit and enter. Here is how:

How to enter

“Simply comment on the Reddit thread, winners are picked at random, tell a good joke for a better chance. An announcement will be made in the CallofDuty Discord Server when the giveaway has moved there.

“Beta Codes provide you access to the Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta and the upcoming Blackout Beta.

“If you receive a Beta Code, enter it on”

Weekend 2

• Giveaway start: NOW

• 200 Beta Codes given away on /r/BlackOps4

• 50 Beta Codes are given away on the CallofDuty Discord

Black Ops 4 is also open as a PC open beta this weekend, for those who use a PC rather than a console.

Black Ops 4 offers fans a bunch of new weapons and game modes to play with, as Call of Duty looks to wrestle domination away from the popular Battle Royale shooter, Fortnite.

The open beta will contain 16 weapons, and a number of new game modes, though the full version of the game will have a huge amount of new content to get stuck into.
